The Antec FrigusAir 400 ARGB is a single-tower CPU air cooler designed for systems requiring up to 150 W Thermal Design Power (TDP) dissipation. Heat transfer is facilitated by a structure incorporating four 6 mm diameter copper heat pipes that make direct contact with the CPU’s integrated heat spreader. These pipes distribute thermal energy to a dense array of aluminum fins, optimizing the surface area available for cooling. The accompanying 120 mm fan uses a standard 4-pin connector and supports Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for dynamic speed regulation based on load.

Operating speeds range from 600 RPM minimum to 1800 RPM maximum, providing a peak airflow volume of 77 CFM. Acoustic output from the fan is logged between 20.3 dB and 34.5 dB, correlated to the rotational speed. The unit measures 155 mm high, which requires verification against the clearances of the target PC enclosure. Installation hardware is included, ensuring compatibility with current Intel sockets, including LGA 1700, as well as multiple generations of AMD sockets.
