The ZTE G5C 5G Wi-Fi 6 router is a mobile broadband gateway that converts a cellular signal into a local network. The device supports 5G non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) modes, providing internet access without a fixed line. Integrated 4G LTE compatibility ensures connectivity in areas with limited 5G coverage. The router broadcasts dual-band Wi-Fi 6 across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, with a peak wireless data transfer rate of 1800 Mbit/s. This bandwidth allows for simultaneous video streaming, large file downloads, and browsing. The device serves as a primary internet source for mobile offices, temporary setups, and homes lacking traditional broadband infrastructure.

The router includes a physical Nano-SIM slot and supports eSIM. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports provide 1 Gbit/s wired connections for latency-sensitive hardware, such as desktop computers or smart televisions. One of these ports functions as a WAN interface if a wired connection is required. Security features include a built-in firewall and support for WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, and WPA3-PSK encryption. Administrators can manage guest networks and parental controls through the web-based interface. The gateway uses an external AC adapter with a power consumption of 18 watts. Internal antennas with up to 4 dBi gain and MIMO technology maintain stable connections to cellular masts.
