The Ubiquiti PoE Smart Chime (UACC-CHIME-POE) broadcasts audible alerts for UniFi doorbell and door access events. It connects exclusively via a wired network, using a 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet interface for both data and power. By drawing power over Ethernet (PoE), the device eliminates the need for a separate power supply. The system consumes a maximum of 3 watts and provides indoor audio notifications independently of mobile push alerts.
The housing is made from aluminium and polycarbonate. The device can be managed through standard web-based tools and is designed for both in-wall and on-wall mounting; a mounting kit is included for attachment to flat surfaces. By relying on a physical data link rather than Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, the hardware maintains a stable connection unaffected by wireless interference.
