Ubiquiti AI Enhancer - Camera Vision Enhancer

The Ubiquiti AI Enhancer (UACC-AI-PRO-ENHANCER) is an outdoor accessory designed to add AI-based detection to compatible UniFi Protect surveillance cameras. It uses active radar to identify people and vehicles. By handling tracking locally, the device reduces the processing load on the camera, which improves detection accuracy. Dedicated infrared hardware extends visibility in the dark. Unlike many network devices, it does not use Power over Ethernet (PoE) and instead requires a separate DC power supply to ensure stable operation for its internal processing and lighting systems.

The unit is built with an aluminium alloy and polycarbonate enclosure designed for continuous outdoor use. The housing is weather-sealed to protect against moisture and rain. For active alerts, the device includes a built-in speaker for broadcasting audio notifications. It must be mounted at a specific height for the radar to function correctly; the mounting bracket allows for manual adjustment to align the radar with the camera’s field of view. A built-in high-output floodlight provides illumination during triggered events.
