The COROS NOMAD is a GPS watch designed for outdoor navigation and performance tracking. It utilizes a multi-satellite system that includes GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo to support its onboard global mapping capabilities. The 47.8 mm case is constructed from a fiber-reinforced polymer with an aluminum alloy bezel, protecting a 1.3-inch touchscreen Memory-in-Pixel display. A water resistance rating of 5 ATM makes it suitable for use in wet conditions and during surface swimming activities.

A full sensor suite, including a barometric altimeter, electronic compass, and gyroscope, provides environmental and motion data. Its optical wrist-based sensor monitors heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO₂), which contributes to sleep quality analysis and stress monitoring functions. The watch also calculates advanced training metrics such as VO2 max, training load, and HRV status to support performance management. Multiple sport profiles are pre-loaded to tailor data collection for activities like trail running, climbing, and cycling.

The internal battery provides up to 22 days of use in smartwatch mode or 50 hours with continuous GPS tracking. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth for smartphone notifications and Wi-Fi for direct data synchronization. The watch syncs with the COROS App, which supports data sharing with third-party platforms like Strava and TrainingPeaks. Additionally, it features 32 GB of internal storage for onboard music playback.
