The QNAP TS-233 NAS, bundled with a 4 TB HDD (ST4000VN006), is a two-bay tower designed for home and small office use. The device centralizes data storage and provides shared network access for file management and backups. It features an ARM Cortex-A55 quad-core 2 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. One 4 TB hard drive is pre-installed, leaving a second bay available for an additional 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drive. Users can configure these drives in RAID 0, RAID 1, or JBOD modes.

Connectivity includes a single Gigabit Ethernet port supporting data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and jumbo frames.
