The TP-LINK NE200-OUTDOOR 5G Outdoor Router acts as a cellular gateway for locations without fixed-line broadband. It uses 5G NR technology to reach data speeds of up to 4.67 Gbps. The router connects to mobile networks via a single Nano SIM slot to establish a high-speed WAN link. Lacking internal Wi-Fi, the unit serves exclusively to convert cellular signals into a wired output for a local switch or access point. An integrated 4G fallback, using FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE standards, maintains internet connectivity if the 5G signal is lost. This setup is suitable for providing stable, high-bandwidth connections for remote offices, rural properties, or as a backup WAN solution.

Designed for outdoor use, the housing mounts to poles, walls, or windows to optimise signal reception. A single 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port carries both data and power. Because the unit supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) via IEEE 802.3af/at, it can be powered directly through the network cable, removing the need for an external power socket. Internal antennas are configured to capture mobile signals while maintaining a compact, weather-resistant design. Security features include IPv4 and IPv6 SPI firewalls and DoS protection, while an integrated DHCP server manages local IP distribution.
