The TP-LINK Omada ISM321A-20 1000Base-BX WDM bi-directional industrial SFP module is a transceiver designed to extend connections between compatible industrial switches. It uses single-mode fibre to carry network traffic and Wavelength Division Multiplexing to transmit and receive data over a single strand, reducing overall cabling requirements. The module reaches a maximum data transfer rate of 1250 Mbit/s to support high-capacity backbones and reliable communication between distant hardware.

The transceiver features a single LC Simplex port. It integrates Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) to provide real-time performance data to the host switch, allowing administrators to monitor operational parameters and link stability.
