Instead of sealing the ear canal, they rest on the outer ear and use Bose OpenAudio technology to direct sound privately to the listener. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.3, which establishes a wireless link with compatible audio sources within a 10-meter range.

Each earbud offers up to 7 hours of continuous audio playback, with the included charging case providing a total of 25 hours. The case itself recharges fully in one hour via a USB-C port and supports fast charging. Integrated controls allow for management of music and calls, and their functions can be customized within the Bose mobile app. The earbuds are constructed from soft silicone and plastic and have an IPX4 rating for water and sweat resistance, making them suitable for workouts and daily use.
