The Ubiquiti UniFi UNAS 2 is a desktop network-attached storage device designed for small and medium-sized businesses. It enables centralized data management by supporting up to two 3.5-inch hard disk drives. Hardware-level RAID 1 support mirrors data across both drives to protect against loss. A single RJ-45 Ethernet port handles network connectivity, supporting speeds up to 2.5 GbE. This multi-gigabit connection offers faster file transfers than standard Gigabit interfaces on compatible network infrastructure.

Administration is managed via a web-based interface, which allows for the configuration of NFS and SMB protocols. Remote monitoring and access are available via mobile apps for Android and iOS.
