The StarTech.com 2-Port 5G PCIe Ethernet Network Card (PR25GR-NETWORK-CARD) provides wired connectivity for desktop PCs and servers. The card installs into a PCI Express slot and features two RJ45 ports, supporting data transfer rates of up to 5,000 Mbit/s. Equipped with the Realtek RTL8126 chipset, the adapter supports 5 Gigabit networking while remaining backward compatible with 2.5 Gigabit, Gigabit, and Fast Ethernet connections. As a wired network adapter, it does not include Wi-Fi.
The card is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server (2019 and 2022), and Linux. An included low-profile bracket allows for installation in both standard and compact cases. Integrated LED indicators display network link and activity status. The plug-and-play design allows for immediate use on supported platforms without complex driver configuration.
