HPE Aruba Networking AP-615-US - Wireless Access Point, White

The HPE Aruba Networking AP-615-US is a tri-band access point for indoor enterprise and campus networks. It uses the Wi-Fi 6E standard across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. Access to the 6 GHz spectrum reduces signal congestion in high-density environments. The device supports a maximum combined wireless data rate of 3600 Mbit/s for bandwidth-intensive applications. Internal MU-MIMO and two antennas manage simultaneous client connections. Wireless operations comply with IEEE 802.11ax and 802.11mc standards for compatibility with current mobile hardware.

Local network connectivity is provided via an Ethernet port supporting 10, 100, 1000, and 2500 Mbit/s. The AP-615-US is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE+), eliminating the need for a local AC power source. Administration is managed via a web interface, with support for firmware updates. Security includes an integrated firewall and support for encryption protocols such as WPA3, WPA2, and CNSA. IP filtering and Quality of Service (QoS) tools allow for traffic prioritisation and network access control. The unit can be mounted on ceilings or walls and features a USB port for peripheral connectivity.
