The DJI ROMO P employs high-performance binocular fisheye vision sensors and wide-angle solid-state LiDARs for comprehensive environment mapping. This sophisticated sensing setup facilitates accurate obstacle detection, identifying objects as small as 2mm, which informs precise path planning. The vacuum generates 25 kPa of measured suction power and offers four adjustable cleaning levels, including a dedicated silent mode. Noise output during operation is rated at 56 dB, balancing power delivery with ambient noise control.

Cleaning efficacy is managed by dual anti-tangle hybrid roller brushes and active edge recognition facilitated by extendable robotic arms. Automated maintenance functions are centralized within the base station, which includes self-emptying capability into a 1.8 L bagged container. The base station also processes mop pads using a high-pressure water-jet self-cleaning system, followed by a drying cycle. The robot carries a 0.164 L water tank for wet mopping and provides 180 minutes of runtime per 2.5-hour charging cycle.
