The AeroCool Rime 4 is a single-tower air cooling unit engineered to manage thermal loads up to 230 W Thermal Design Power (TDP). Heat transfer utilizes four 6 mm heat pipes that employ Heat Core Touch Technology (HCTT) for direct contact with the CPU integrated heat spreader. The thermal energy is subsequently transferred into a dense array of aluminum fins finished in black for efficient heat dissipation. This unit maintains a total height of 155 mm, which facilitates compatibility with most standard mid-tower enclosures.

A single 120 mm fan, controlled via Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), manages airflow across the heatsink structure. The fan operates within a rotational speed range of 800 to 1800 RPM, producing a maximum airflow of 75.3 CFM and a static pressure up to 3.04 mmH₂O. Acoustic output ranges from a minimum of 17 dB to a maximum of 34 dB at full speed. The fan also features addressable RGB illumination, allowing synchronization with compatible motherboard lighting headers.

The cooler supports a wide range of current mainstream sockets, including Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5 platforms. The fan component utilizes a reliable hydraulic bearing and has an expected Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) rating of 60,000 hours.
