The HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i are true wireless stereo earbuds designed for music playback and calls. They feature an in-ear form factor that provides passive noise isolation, which is supplemented by active noise cancelling (ANC) technology to reduce ambient environmental sounds. Each earbud contains an 11 mm dynamic driver that covers a frequency response range of 20 Hz to 40,000 Hz. For a stable wireless connection, the earbuds utilize the Bluetooth 5.4 standard. The package includes four sizes of silicone ear tips to accommodate different ear shapes for a secure fit.

On-device touch controls allow for direct management of audio playback, call functions, and volume adjustment. A single charge provides up to 8 hours of listening time, and the included charging case extends the total battery life to 35 hours. The case recharges in one hour via a USB Type-C port and supports a 40-minute fast charge. The earbuds have an IP54 rating, which indicates resistance to dust and water splashes, making them suitable for use in various conditions.
