TP-Link VIGI InSight S285 8MP - Network camera, White

The TP-Link VIGI InSight S285 is a wired 8MP dome network camera (2.8 mm lens) designed for 24-hour surveillance. It uses an 8-megapixel CMOS sensor to capture video at a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The camera connects to a network via an RJ45 Ethernet port. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) with a maximum consumption of 12.3 W, or can be powered via a 12 V DC input. Integrated IR and white LEDs allow for full-colour recording in low-light conditions.

Designed for outdoor use, the camera has a metal, IP67-rated enclosure to protect against dust and water. It is primarily intended for ceiling mounting in commercial or industrial settings. Security and management are handled via web or cloud interfaces, using HTTPS encryption, password protection, and IP address filtering. The device includes a built-in microphone, speaker, and siren for two-way audio and active deterrence. It supports local storage via MicroSD cards up to 512 GB and sends push notifications triggered by motion detection or human and vehicle classification algorithms.
