TP-Link VIGI InSight S285 8MP - Network Camera, White

The TP-Link VIGI InSight S285 is an 8MP full-colour outdoor dome network camera with a 4 mm lens. It captures footage at a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels using an 8-megapixel CMOS sensor. The fixed 4 mm lens provides a field of view of 88 degrees horizontally and 46 degrees vertically. For night vision, the camera uses dual IR and white LED arrays, allowing for full-colour recording in complete darkness. It connects to the network via an RJ45 port and supports power supply via a DC input or Power over Ethernet (PoE) (IEEE 802.3af/at).

The camera is housed in a metal, IP67-rated enclosure for weather resistance. It is designed for ceiling mounting, suitable for overhead monitoring. Administrators can configure the system via a web browser or through cloud-based platforms. Security features include HTTPS encryption, password protection, and IP address filtering. The camera classifies human and vehicle targets to reduce false motion detection alerts. A built-in siren serves as a physical deterrent, and an integrated microphone and speaker allow for two-way audio communication.
