TP-Link VIGI InSight S485 8MP - Network Camera, White

The TP-Link VIGI InSight S485 8MP Full-Color Turret Network Camera (2.8mm) is a wired security camera designed for continuous surveillance. It captures video with a 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor at a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. A 2.8 mm fixed lens provides a wide field of view suitable for monitoring perimeters and building entrances. The camera connects via a 10/100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet RJ45 port and supports 12V DC input or IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet (PoE). Using PoE allows data and power to be delivered through a single network cable. The unit draws a maximum of 11.5 W during operation, or up to 12.5 W when powered via PoE.

The metal-housed turret is rated IP67 for outdoor use. The included installation kit supports ceiling mounting. Operators can configure and monitor the device through web-based or cloud-managed platforms. Security features include HTTPS encryption, password protection, and IP address filtering to restrict unauthorised network access. The camera features two-way audio with an integrated microphone and speaker, as well as a siren to deter intruders. On-board analytics classify human and vehicle targets, while an IR/White LED system enables full-color viewing and night vision in low-light conditions.
