The TP-Link Omada SG6428XHP 24-port Gigabit L3 managed PoE+ switch provides traffic routing and power delivery for enterprise environments. It features 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and four SFP slots for fibre uplinks. With a switching capacity of 128 Gbit/s and a 95.2 Mpps forwarding rate, the switch minimises bottlenecks across active links. Its Layer 3 capabilities support IP routing, enabling efficient inter-VLAN communication in complex network topologies.

The 1U rack-mountable chassis uses four cooling fans to maintain stable temperatures under heavy data and power loads. It has a total PoE budget of 720 W, allocating up to 30 W per port for devices such as access points and IP cameras. Administrators can manage the system via a web interface, command-line, or a centralised cloud platform. Traffic is secured and segmented using 4,000 active VLANs and configurable access control lists. Both RJ-45 and USB Type-C console ports are available for direct local access.
