The DELTACO SFP+ Transceiver is an optical module engineered for high-speed fiber optic networks requiring efficient data exchange over long distances. Utilizing the standardized SFP+ form factor, this unit supports a 10 Gbit/s data transfer rate suitable for demanding enterprise and data center environments. It is specifically designed for use with single-mode fiber infrastructure and integrates into compatible networking equipment to facilitate point-to-point connections.

This module employs BiDi (Bi-directional) technology, which enables simultaneous data transmission and reception over a single strand of fiber, optimizing cable plant utilization. The connection utilizes LC interfaces. The system operates with asymmetric wavelengths, transmitting data at 1270 nm and receiving data at 1330 nm, adhering to 10GBASE-BX-U networking standards. This configuration maintains reliable signal integrity across a maximum operating distance of 10 kilometers.

As an active device, the transceiver provides the necessary conversion between electrical signals from the host device and optical signals carried by the fiber. Its hot-pluggable design allows for seamless integration without powering down the host network device, supporting continuous system operation during maintenance or expansion.
