The ASUS ZenWiFi AX (XT8) is a tri-band Wi-Fi 6 mesh system that covers up to 511 m². Using the 802.11ax standard, the two-pack configuration provides high throughput for data-heavy tasks. A dedicated secondary 5 GHz band handles backhaul or prioritizes specific devices, preventing interference with general network traffic. Six internal antennas, combined with MU-MIMO and beamforming technology, maintain stable connections for multiple devices at once. This system is designed to support 8K streaming and low-latency gaming in multi-floor homes.

Each unit includes Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and a high-speed USB interface for modem or storage integration. Security features include a built-in firewall and support for VPN protocols such as OpenVPN and IPSec. Through the web-based interface, users can manage URL filtering, parental controls, and Quality of Service (QoS) rules. Each unit is designed for desktop placement and includes status lights and a WPS button. The package contains two units, which create a single network under one SSID with automated node coordination.
