The Samsung HW-S60D is a 5.0 channel soundbar designed as an all-in-one audio solution. It processes Dolby Atmos audio to produce a multi-dimensional sound field from a single, compact unit. Internally, the soundbar is equipped with seven drivers, including a dedicated center speaker intended to improve the clarity of spoken dialogue in movies and television shows. The chassis measures 670 mm in width, making it suitable for placement with a variety of television sizes without requiring a separate subwoofer for its core operation.

Primary wired connectivity is handled through an HDMI eARC port, which supports high-resolution audio formats, along with a digital optical input. For wireless audio streaming, the unit incorporates both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2. The soundbar integrates with multiple streaming ecosystems, offering direct support for Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, and Spotify Connect. It also features SpaceFit Sound Pro technology to automatically calibrate the audio output to the room’s acoustics. Q-Symphony technology allows the soundbar to synchronize with the speakers of compatible Samsung TVs for a more unified soundstage.
