The D-Link G416C/E 4G LTE Wi‑Fi 6 AX1500 router is a desktop mobile broadband gateway that converts cellular signals into a local wireless network. By using a 4G LTE connection, it provides internet access in areas where fixed broadband is unavailable or unreliable. Operating on the Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard, the device manages traffic more efficiently than older wireless generations. It offers a peak wireless data transfer rate of 1500 Mbit/s across its dual-band configuration: the 5 GHz band provides up to 1204 Mbit/s for intensive tasks, while the 2.4 GHz band provides up to 300 Mbit/s for standard connections. This configuration supports media streaming, video conferencing, and web browsing in a home or small office.

Network access is provided via a NanoSIM card slot. The device operates on 4G LTE and includes 3G WCDMA fallback to maintain connectivity in areas with limited coverage. Four external antennas are mounted on the chassis to improve Wi‑Fi range and cellular signal reception. The router can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall. Status LEDs indicate LTE, power, and system activity. A standard 12 V / 1 A DC power supply is included.
