KÄRCHER PHG 2-18 18V Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer

The Kärcher PHG 2-18 18V Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer is designed for maintaining tall hedges, shrubs and hard-to-reach growth from ground level. Its 450 mm laser-cut, diamond-ground blade has 18 mm tooth spacing and a rated maximum cutting thickness of 18 mm. The longer blade covers broad hedge sections while still reaching narrower growth. Cordless operation removes the need to manage a mains cable around the garden.

At 3.3 kg without the battery, the trimmer combines an ergonomic soft-grip handle with a shoulder strap to distribute its weight during use. It runs on an exchangeable lithium-ion battery from the Kärcher Battery Power 18 V system. The specified runtime is 35 minutes. This bare-tool version does not include a battery or charger, so both must be obtained separately if compatible units are not already available.

The telescopic shaft provides a working reach of approximately 2.8 metres, reducing the need for a ladder when trimming taller hedges. A six-position cutting head articulates through up to 125° for vertical, horizontal and overhead work. Height adjustment allows the pole configuration to be adapted to the task and working position. After use, the shaft separates into sections for more compact storage and transport.
