The Ubiquiti UniFi Building Bridge XG (UBB-XG) is an outdoor point-to-point wireless bridge designed to connect separate network locations without physical cabling. It uses a dual-band radio system to provide high-capacity data transmission. The 60 GHz primary link supports throughput of up to 6,000 Mbit/s. A secondary 5 GHz radio provides redundancy, offering speeds of up to 866.6 Mbit/s if environmental conditions degrade the 60 GHz signal. The total maximum speed is 6,866.6 Mbit/s, and MU-MIMO technology helps manage traffic efficiently under heavy loads.

The UBB-XG is built from an aluminium alloy and UV-resistant polycarbonate to withstand outdoor exposure. It includes one Gigabit Ethernet port and one 10G SFP+ interface for high-speed uplinks. The device is powered via PoE++ or passive PoE, with a typical power consumption of 29 W. It is wall-mountable and includes an AC adapter. Wireless data is secured using WPA2 AES encryption. The device is managed via a web interface and supports firmware updates. Certifications include CE, FCC, IC, and Terragraph compliance.
