The VARTA Night Cutter Pro F40R Rechargeable LED Hand Flashlight 2000 lm is a handheld light intended for outdoor activities, professional work, and emergencies. A high-performance LED produces up to 2,000 lumens, with a beam that reaches distances of up to 350 metres. Five selectable modes let the user adapt the output to the surroundings. Turbo mode delivers the full 2,000 lumens for situations requiring maximum visibility. The remaining settings provide lower brightness for closer tasks or to conserve energy. The beam profile can be adjusted to suit the job at hand.

The housing combines ABS, aluminium, polycarbonate, and silicone to achieve an IP67 rating against dust and water. The flashlight withstands submersion up to 1 metre and survives drops from up to 2 metres. A built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 48 hours of runtime on a single charge. Recharging is via an integrated port that also works as a power bank for external devices. A battery-level indicator shows the remaining charge. The physical design supports sustained handheld use.
