The Fractal Design Epoch XL is a tower chassis designed to house high-performance PC components. It accommodates a range of motherboard form factors, including E-ATX up to 275 mm, standard ATX, mATX, and ITX. The internal layout provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 176 mm in height and power supplies up to 290 mm in length. The case is constructed from steel and features a tempered glass side panel for viewing internal hardware.

This chassis is configured for substantial cooling capacity. It includes three pre-installed 140 mm RGB fans at the front to facilitate airflow directly out of the box. For liquid cooling, it supports radiators up to 360 mm in the front and top positions, as well as a 120 mm radiator at the rear. Storage options consist of two internal 3.5-inch bays and two dedicated 2.5-inch bays. The front I/O panel provides modern connectivity with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a combination audio jack.
