HPE Aruba Networking CX 6000 - Managed 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE Switch

The HPE Aruba Networking CX 6000 24-port Gigabit PoE switch (R8N87B) is a Layer 2 access switch designed for enterprise and branch networks. It features 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and four dedicated SFP slots for fibre uplink connectivity. The switch offers a 56 Gbit/s switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 41.6 Mpps. All 24 copper ports support Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), with a total power budget of 370 W, allowing the switch to power devices such as wireless access points and IP cameras directly via the network cable.

The 1U chassis is designed for standard rack mounting. Administrators can manage the unit via a web-based GUI, a USB-C console port for command-line access, or cloud management systems. The switch features an 8,192-entry MAC address table and basic static routing functions. VLANs, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Quality of Service (QoS) protocols handle traffic segmentation and prioritisation. Authentication is secured via RADIUS and TACACS+, while IGMP snooping and port mirroring facilitate network monitoring.
