The Synology ActiveProtect Appliance DP320 is a two-bay desktop backup system designed for centralized, policy-based data protection. It runs the pre-installed ActiveProtect Manager operating system to manage automated backups and recovery. Powered by an AMD Ryzen R1600 dual-core processor and 8 GB of DDR4 memory, the unit comes with 16 TB of storage pre-installed across two 8 TB 3.5-inch hard drives. It supports RAID 0, 1, and JBOD configurations for various redundancy or performance requirements, providing data immutability and protection for local IT environments within a single managed unit.
