The D-Link DWM-530-T 4G LTE M2M Wi-Fi Router is a cellular gateway designed for industrial and fixed installations. Although often listed alongside 5G equipment, this model operates exclusively on 4G LTE networks. It uses an integrated cellular modem to provide internet access in remote locations, converting mobile data into a local area network with a maximum wireless transfer rate of 300 Mbit/s. It broadcasts on a single 2.4 GHz band using the Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) standard, providing sufficient bandwidth for monitoring equipment, sensor data transmission, and basic remote access. Dual-SIM functionality allows for automatic failover between two different carrier networks.

The gateway features a zinc-plated steel housing designed for demanding environments and supports DIN-rail mounting for integration into industrial control panels or server racks. Four external antennas with SMA connectors help maintain signal reception across cellular and local frequencies. Wired networking is provided by four 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet LAN ports for legacy hardware connections. The device uses Micro-SIM (3FF) cards and is powered by a direct DC source. Network security is managed via a built-in firewall and WPA2 encryption, with support for various routing and tunneling protocols for secure remote connections.
