The HUAWEI FreeClip 2 are open-ear wireless earbuds that utilize a C-bridge clip-on design to provide a secure fit while maintaining the user's awareness of their surroundings. This form factor employs an open-back acoustic system, allowing ambient sound to pass through. Audio is produced by 10.8 mm dynamic drivers that cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds connect to devices using Bluetooth 6.0 and support multiple audio codecs, including AAC, aptX, and LDAC, for use with compatible sources.

On a single charge, the earbuds offer up to nine hours of continuous audio playback, and the included charging case extends the total listening time to 38 hours. The device supports fast charging, with a 10-minute charge providing extended playback. Controls are managed through a combination of touch input, gesture swipes for volume, and head motion for answering or rejecting calls. Constructed with liquid silicone and a shape memory alloy, the earbuds have an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance.
