Microconnect MC-PCIEX4-I225-T2 - Network Interface Card

The MICROCONNECT MC-PCIEX4-I225-T2 is a dual-port 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet adapter for PCs and servers. It connects directly to the motherboard via an internal PCI Express 3.1 x4 slot and supports data rates up to 2.5 Gbit/s. The unit is designed for wired networking and does not include wireless connectivity.

The adapter uses an integrated Intel I225 chipset and operates over standard Cat5e and Cat6 cabling. It allows administrators to upgrade host machines to higher throughputs using existing copper infrastructure rather than installing new fibre-optic cabling. The internal form factor avoids the need for external networking dongles.
