MicroConnect MC-PCIEX4-I226 - Network Interface Card

The MICROCONNECT MC-PCIEX4-I226 is a PCIe x4 2.5G dual-port Ethernet network card designed for desktop PCs and servers. It connects to a motherboard via a PCI Express x4 interface to provide high-bandwidth wired connectivity. With a maximum data transfer rate of 2500 Mbit/s, the card offers higher throughput than standard Gigabit equipment. As a dedicated wired networking solution, it handles Ethernet traffic only and does not include Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The standard PCIe x4 form factor ensures compatibility with a wide range of desktop and server chassis.

The adapter uses an Intel I226 chipset to manage data traffic in both consumer and enterprise environments. It is compatible with Windows 10 and 11, as well as Windows Server 2019 and 2022. For Linux environments, it supports Ubuntu 20.04+ and RHEL/CentOS 8+, and it is compatible with VMware ESXi 7.0/8.0. At 130 grams, the unit adds minimal bulk to the host system. It also features built-in VLAN support and tagging, allowing for logical network segmentation at the hardware level.
