Microconnect MC-PCIEX8-XXV710-DA2 - Network interface card

The MICROCONNECT MC-PCIEX8-XXV710-DA2 is an internal network interface card (NIC) designed for high-bandwidth server connectivity. It uses a PCI Express 3.0 x8 host interface to provide data transfer rates of up to 25,000 Mbit/s. Based on the 25 Gigabit Ethernet standard, this adapter is a successor to legacy networking hardware. It uses fiber-optic cabling to maintain low latency in data centre environments and requires a compatible PCIe slot for installation.

The card features an Intel XXV710 LAN controller with offload functions that reduce CPU overhead during heavy traffic. It is compatible with both full-height and low-profile server chassis, as it includes the necessary brackets for both form factors. Network management is handled by built-in quality of service (QoS) protocols to prioritize critical data packets. Virtualization tools, including PCI-SIG SR-IOV and Intel Virtualization Technology for Connectivity (VT-c), isolate traffic in hypervisor deployments. Standard functions such as full-duplex transmission, flow control, and auto-negotiation are supported at the hardware level.
