The Mercusys MR25BE is a dual-band wireless router utilizing the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard. This device provides a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 3568 Mbit/s, distributing up to 688 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and up to 2880 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. It incorporates four fixed external omnidirectional antennas along with beamforming and MU-MIMO technology to maintain signal stability across multiple connections. The hardware supports up to 150 devices simultaneously and includes intelligent mesh technology for extended coverage within a network environment.

For wired connectivity, the router features one Gigabit WAN port and three Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports for high-speed data transfers. Security is managed through WPA3-SAE, WPA2-PSK, and WPA-PSK encryption protocols, supplemented by an integrated firewall and parental controls. Management options include a web-based interface with support for DHCP, quality of service (QoS), and multiple VPN protocols including WireGuard and OpenVPN. The unit is designed for desktop placement or wall mounting, measuring 167 mm in width and 117.5 mm in depth.
