The Fractal Design Pop 2 Air is a mid-tower chassis designed for thermal efficiency and component visibility. Its construction features a steel frame, a 4 mm tempered glass side panel, and mesh front and top panels to promote high-volume airflow. This model comes with four pre-installed 120 mm Aspect 12X RGB fans, with three positioned for front intake and one for rear exhaust. An integrated controller manages the RGB lighting, providing illumination that can be adjusted directly from the case.

Internally, the case supports ATX, mATX, and Mini-ITX motherboard form factors. It offers clearances for CPU coolers up to 170 mm in height and power supplies up to 180 mm in length. Storage options include a combination of 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drive mounts, supported by an HDD/SSD combo cage. For liquid cooling configurations, the chassis accommodates a 120 mm radiator at the rear and radiators up to 360 mm at the top. The design includes dust filters and dedicated routes for cable management to simplify the building process.
