The TP-Link Omada ER701-5G-OUTDOOR gateway acts as a cellular-to-LAN bridge for remote sites, industrial facilities, and small offices. It uses 5G as a primary WAN connection where fixed broadband is unavailable or unreliable. Designed for outdoor use, the gateway routes traffic from mobile networks to local infrastructure. The system supports aggregate data transfer rates of up to 7010 Mbit/s, and its enclosure protects internal components during continuous outdoor operation.

The gateway connects to your network infrastructure via a single 2.5G RJ45 Ethernet port. This connection supports data rates of 2500 Mbit/s, preventing the backhaul to a switch or router from bottlenecking incoming cellular throughput. Administrators can manage the device using Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, or 11. Measuring 183 × 110 × 36 mm, the unit is compact and straightforward to mount on walls or external structures.
