The Teltonika CAP700000000 Altos Wi-Fi 7 5G tabletop router is a wireless broadband gateway providing local network access via cellular connectivity. It uses a built-in SIM card slot to connect to 5G and LTE mobile networks, enabling internet access in locations without fixed-line service. Local wireless networking is provided by an integrated Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) access point, which remains compatible with legacy 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards. Wired connections are handled by two RJ45 ports supporting 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, with data transfer rates of 10, 100, 1000, and 2500 Mbit/s. The unit runs on a standard DC power supply and typically consumes 8 W during operation.

The router features a white plastic enclosure designed for indoor tabletop use. With an IP30 rating, it is protected against solid objects larger than 2.5 mm but is not suitable for outdoor or weather-exposed environments. Eight internal antennas are integrated into the chassis. Running on the RutOS platform, the system includes standard network management functions such as a DHCP server, port forwarding, and an integrated firewall. Network traffic is managed via access control lists (ACLs) and built-in security features. Front-facing LED indicators provide status updates for power, WLAN activity, and LAN connections.
