The KIOXIA CD8P-R is a 7.68TB solid-state drive engineered for read-intensive workloads in data center and cloud environments. It operates on a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface with the NVMe 2.0 protocol, delivering high throughput for enterprise-level applications. The drive is constructed with BiCS FLASH TLC memory and fits a standard 2.5-inch U.2 drive bay with a 15mm height. Its architecture is specified for consistent performance in tasks such as online transaction processing, virtualization, and big data analytics that require frequent data access.

This SSD achieves sequential read speeds up to 12,000 MB/s and random read performance of 2,000,000 IOPS.
