STAEDTLER Mars Lumograph Colour Aquarell 104, 120 assorted shades - watercolour pencil

The STAEDTLER Mars Lumograph Colour Aquarell 104 Watercolour Pencils, 120-Colour Metal Case is a pencil set for dry drawing and water-activated colour work. Each pencil contains a soft, highly pigmented, water-soluble lead with a 3.6 mm diameter. This lead size supports detailed lines while retaining enough material for colouring and shading. Used dry, the pencils suit sketches, layered artwork and controlled detail. Water can then blend the marks into washes and smoother colour transitions.

The wooden barrels have a hexagonal profile that sits securely in the hand and helps stop pencils from rolling off a work surface. Their straightforward shape remains easy to handle during longer drawing or colouring sessions. Break-resistant leads reduce the likelihood of fractures during routine use and sharpening. They are also designed to sharpen easily when a finer point is needed. This construction supports work ranging from precise dry marks to broader watercolour techniques.
