The TCL 98C731 is a 98-inch 4K QLED smart TV designed for home cinema setups. The display features a native 3840 x 2160 resolution. A 120 Hz refresh rate and Motion Clarity Pro technology work to reduce motion blur. With a peak brightness of 800 cd/m², the screen remains clear in various lighting conditions. The TV supports HDR for improved contrast and includes a dedicated Game Mode to reduce input lag when using consoles.

The device runs on Google TV (Android 11) and connects to the internet via 802.11ac Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Four HDMI 2.1 ports allow for high-bandwidth connections, complemented by one USB 2.0 port.
