This induction hob features two cooking zones and a total connected load of 3400 W. Heat is generated directly within compatible cookware through electromagnetic induction, rather than by a traditional heating element. The Steba IK 650 Slim has a total cooking surface width of 60 cm, allowing for side-by-side cooking. As a freestanding unit, it can be placed on any stable, flat surface with access to a power socket. It is designed for mobile or additional cooking where a permanent hob installation is not required.

The glass-ceramic surface is flat and easy to clean. Settings are managed via touch controls on the front of the unit, which features an integrated display for monitoring. There are 8 power levels, and the hob supports temperature-controlled cooking up to 240°C. Safety features include a child lock and an automatic power-off function. Automatic pan detection ensures the zones only activate when induction-compatible cookware is placed on the surface. A programmable timer allows for cooking durations of up to 180 minutes.
