DJI Zenmuse S1 Aerial Spotlight Payload

The DJI Zenmuse S1 Aerial Spotlight Payload is an LEP lighting unit for the DJI Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK, and Matrice 300 RTK enterprise drones. Operation with the Matrice 300 RTK requires a DJI RC Plus. It provides high-intensity aerial illumination for low-light and nighttime work. The rated effective observation distance reaches up to 500 metres, allowing crews to light distant areas from the air. An integrated gimbal stabilises the direction of the spotlight during flight. Intelligent beam alignment coordinates the illuminated area with the drone and camera view.

At 760 g, the payload’s mass must be included when planning the aircraft load. Its housing measures 152 mm wide, 171 mm high, and 125 mm deep. The specified operating temperature range is -20 °C to 40 °C. These limits cover use in cold and warm working environments within the stated range. Intended roles include public safety, search and rescue, nighttime inspection, and emergency response. The spotlight is also suitable for utility repair, infrastructure surveys, and industrial patrol work.
