The EINHELL 18 V Cordless Hedge Trimmer is a bare cordless tool for maintaining garden hedges and shrubs. Its rated cutting capacity is 13 mm, setting the maximum branch thickness it is designed to trim. The cutting surfaces are laser-cut and diamond-ground steel blades. This blade construction supports clean trimming during routine shaping work. Power comes from an 18 V rechargeable battery in Einhell’s Power X-Change system. The cordless format removes the need to manage a mains cable around the hedge.

The dual reciprocating blade system moves both blades during operation, while a metal gearbox handles power transmission. At approximately 2 kg, the trimmer remains relatively manageable during longer maintenance sessions. A two-handed safety switch requires both hands at the controls and helps reduce unintended activation. Neither the battery nor charger is supplied with this bare-tool version. Buyers therefore need an existing compatible Power X-Change battery and charger or must obtain them separately. The housing has a black and red colour scheme.
