EINHELL GC-HH 5056 500 W Telescopic Hedge Trimmer

The EINHELL 500 W Telescopic Hedge Trimmer is a corded electric tool for homeowners maintaining tall hedges, shrubs and bushes from the ground. Its rated cutting capacity is 20 mm, which sets the maximum thickness of growth it can trim. A 500 W motor drives the cutter for regular garden hedge maintenance. The single blade is made from laser-cut, diamond-ground steel, a process that produces a precise cutting edge. Power comes from the AC mains, so operation requires access to a mains socket rather than a charged battery.

The tool’s adjustable length ranges from approximately 1,700 to 2,500 mm, letting the reach match different sections of a hedge. This extension helps access higher growth without a ladder. An ergonomic handle provides the main grip for controlling the trimmer during use. The handle also rotates, so its orientation can be changed for different working positions. Five selectable cutting-head positions provide further adjustment for trimming at different angles while working from the ground.

• 560 mm blade size.
• 470 mm cutting length, which defines the active trimming span.
• 20 mm tooth spacing.
• 3,000 strokes per minute rated stroke rate.
• 5.3 kg weight, relevant when assessing handling for extended trimming sessions.
