The Makita DMR055 18V LXT Cordless LED Lantern & AM/FM Radio is a portable, two-in-one tool for the workplace. It produces 260 lumens to illuminate dark areas, using an LED to project a 2500 K warm white light in a 360-degree pattern. In addition to its lighting functions, the device receives AM and FM broadcasts, playing audio through a built-in speaker.

The unit requires a 14.4 V or 18 V Makita LXT lithium-ion battery. Its casing features XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) to resist water and dust, allowing the radio to be used on demanding job sites, in workshops, or while camping. A built-in hanging hook allows for hands-free, overhead use. A backlit LCD panel displays the current operating status and tuning settings.
