Teltonika RUTM56 - Industrial 5G Router, Black

The Teltonika RUTM56 is an industrial 5G router designed for remote and commercial network deployments. It uses integrated modems to provide primary or fallback internet connectivity across 5G, 4G LTE Cat 4, 3G, and 2G networks. Wired infrastructure is supported by five Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports (10/100/1000 Mbps). Wireless clients connect via dual-band Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac), which supports data transfer speeds of up to 867 Mbit/s. Cellular network access is provided through a built-in SIM card slot. The device is powered via a dedicated DC-in jack rather than Power over Ethernet.

The router is housed in an anodized aluminium enclosure with an IP30 rating. It can be installed on a DIN rail, on a wall, or on a flat surface. The device runs the OpenWrt-based RutOS, which administrators can manage locally through a web interface or remotely via cloud platforms. The built-in firewall monitors traffic and includes features such as custom rules, port forwarding, and DDoS prevention. LED indicators on the front panel show the WAN type, mobile signal strength, LAN status, and power. The device supports several routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF v2, RIP v1/v2, EIGRP, and NHRP.
