Teltonika TRB256 4G LTE - Industrial IoT Gateway

The Teltonika TRB256 Industrial NB-IoT Gateway connects remote hardware to cellular networks. It supports 4G LTE, including Cat M1, Cat NB1, NB2, and EGPRS standards for machine-to-machine communication. A built-in SIM card slot allows for direct mobile network access and continuous data transmission. Local devices connect via a 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet RJ45 port. The unit is powered by DC; as it lacks Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, it requires a dedicated direct current connection to manage its maximum 2 W power draw.

The gateway features an aluminum enclosure suitable for industrial environments. It can be installed on a desktop, mounted on a wall, or integrated onto a DIN rail. Configuration is performed locally via a web interface or remotely through cloud management platforms. Traffic is managed using VLAN and Quality of Service (QoS) settings to prioritize critical data streams. Security features include a built-in firewall, password protection, and DMZ support. Two external antennas handle cellular signals, and LED indicators provide status for 2G, 4G, and signal strength.
