Teltonika TRB501 - Industrial 5G Gateway

The Teltonika TRB501100000 industrial 5G gateway connects remote devices to cellular networks. It uses 5G and LTE connectivity for high-throughput workloads in demanding environments. The gateway features a single 2.5 GBase-T Ethernet RJ45 port with data rates up to 2500 Mbit/s. Operating as a Layer 3 switch, it manages network topologies through static and dynamic routing. The unit requires an external power adapter, as it does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE). LED indicators on the front panel display connection status, cellular signal strength, network activity, and power state.

Housed in an anodised aluminium enclosure, the gateway is designed for industrial installations. It carries an IP30 rating and can be placed on a desktop, wall-mounted, or secured to a DIN rail. As the hardware is not weatherproof, it must be used indoors or installed within a protective cabinet for outdoor applications. Administrators can configure the unit via a local web interface or manage it centrally using compatible cloud platforms. Security features include a firewall, port forwarding, and an access control list to restrict unauthorised traffic. Users can also deploy VLANs and Quality of Service (QoS) rules to segment and prioritise critical data.
