The eLOAD P1 is a portable Mode 2 charging cable for home and travel. It allows electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids equipped with a Type 2 charging port to draw power directly from a standard domestic socket, avoiding the need for a fixed wallbox. The 5-metre cable provides enough reach for most residential parking spaces. It supports a maximum current of 16 A for reliable domestic charging. The wall-side plug is a standard Schuko (Type F) connector, and the vehicle end features a Type 2 connector. The charging current can be manually adjusted to suit circuits with lower electrical capacities.

The cable is designed for demanding outdoor use and withstands extreme weather conditions. Its internal components operate reliably across wide temperature ranges. The unit is sealed to prevent moisture and dust ingress during use. An integrated display on the control box shows charging status, while safety systems provide continuous connection monitoring, surge protection, and earth leakage detection. Plug temperatures are also tracked to prevent the wall socket from overheating during long charging sessions. A storage bag is included to keep the vehicle boot tidy when the unit is not in use.
